DATEM boldly forges into its 35th year with triple ISO certifications from AJA Registrars for its Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015), Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:20115), and Occupational Health and Safety Systems (ISO 18001:2007).
The certifications were awarded to both the Quezon City Head Office and the Cavite Precast Yard, the scope of which covers Provision of Engineering and Construction Services, and Pre-Cast Manufacturing and Installation
“The certifications are only a testament to the company’s dedication to excellence, innovation, integrity, and malasakit – the very values that form the core of DATEM,” notes DATEM Chairman and CEO Engr. Levy V. Espiritu.
“Achievements like this only inspire us to stay committed to our mission of delivering products and services with the highest standards, while committing to safety, sustainability, and environmental protection,” he adds.
The ISO, or International Organization for Standardization, is an independent, non-governmental international organization with 164 national standards bodies that create documents that indicate requirements, specifications, guidelines or characteristics that ensure that materials, products, processes and services are fit for their purpose.
Since it was founded in Geneva in 1947, the ISO has published over 22,000 International Standards and related documents on different industries.
AJA Registrars, on the other hand, is an independent third-party certification body that offers registration and training services. In March 2018, AJA Registrars Group of Companies (UK, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, USA, and Hong Kong) joined risk prevention firm SOCOTEC Group, which allows clients to benefit not only from accredited and non-accredited certification schemes but Technical and Risk Management services as well.
