The first ever Basic Construction Project Management Seminar (BCPMS) happened way back in 2003. The idea of bringing in BCPMS in the organization’s training program stemmed from the aspiration of the company to equip its employees with better understanding and appreciation of the technical compositions of construction and project management.
Today, BCPMS has become DATEM’s highly valuable in-house training for its detailed curriculum. A CPD Program Accreditation has also been recently applied, which can grant CPD points of 21 and 7.5 for architecture and civil engineering, respectively. Also, the seminar now takes on an integrated approach, which allows participants not only to get to know the basic ropes of construction but to see DATEM in an aggregate view by including discussions on its vision, mission, core values, and core identity. The founders of DATEM themselves are the speakers on certain topics, creating a first-hand experience for participants.
Spanning over six years, the BCPMS trainings, have already created 17 batches, with 700 graduates and over 20 speakers.
Acoustic Night: BCPMS Batch 17, Year 2019 Graduation
The latest batch of BCPMS, Batch 17, Year 2019, had their graduation celebration in OpCen. With an acoustic night theme, the event was highlighted by acoustic song numbers, dance productions, and entertaining performances by the employees, which provided an opportunity for everyone to bond and unwind.
