DATEM’s Business Division Head, Laurence Espiritu (5th from left), joins Arthaland’s executives, partners, and school officials in receiving the certification.
DATEM recently provided support at the inauguration of the first school building in the Philippines certified as EDGE Advanced by the International Finance Corporation (IFC)—the Don Vicente Rama Memorial Elementary School in Cebu City.
EDGE Advanced certification assures resource efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and safe materials and resources of constructed buildings and projects.
DATEM has been proactive in constructing sustainable structures and supporting causes; this includes supporting Arthaland’s integration of its sustainability advocacy into its development projects, such as rehabilitating the said elementary school, which was devastated by Typhoon Odette in 2021.
To further provide benefits to the school community, DATEM donated electric fans at the Don Vicente Rama Memorial Elementary School to provide comfort to students and teachers and facilitate their classes.
Apart from highlighting development, DATEM ensured positive environmental and user-friendly impacts on Arthaland’s projects with Arya residences, Savya Financial Center, and Eluria.
