DATEM is ISO-certified again after a series of assessments to align with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
The three (3) certifications, namely ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS), and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS), confirm DATEM’s integrated management system’s (IMS) adequate implementation and compliance with ISO standards.
Certification audits were conducted by the certifying body, TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc., on DATEM’s head office, and at the precast manufacturing plant in Cavite. The provision of engineering, construction, and precast installation services in The Galleon and East Bay raw water intake project sites were also audited.
The findings commended the streamlining of the organizational structure to improve the workflow and business processes, the comprehensive crisis management procedure of the precast manufacturing plant, and the safe manhours milestones of the East Bay project site and recognitions from the Safety Organization of the Philippines (SOPI).
Furthermore, auditors from TÜV Rheinland Philippines praised the awards and initiatives of the company, such as the two (2) international recognitions from the Real Estate Asia Built Environment Awards 2024, the Philippine Excellence in Concrete Construction Award in the high-rise structure category for Makati Commerce Tower, and joining as the first Filipino construction company in The Climate Group, a global movement to attain net zero.
