DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or client
- Estimate/quantify work items based on approved construction drawings, existing field conditions, and specifications
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly manpower, materials, and equipment schedules
- Prepare quantity takeoff and evaluate cost proposals
- Review bid documents and construction technical specifications
- Prepare cost analysis on quotation to be submitted for bids
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance works
- Perform risk and value management and cost control
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Professional license
- At least 1 year of work experience in the related field
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills
- Can prepare BOQs and cost all the quantities
- Know the detailed measurement takeoff
- Able to obtain accurate quantity takeoff for scope of works as per assignment
- Can identify queries and clarifications made during the course of quantity takeoff
