CADD Operator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate with the TSG head, engineers, and architects for technical details of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sanitary, and fire protection works of the project
  • Prepare body plans, wall setting-out plans, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and all other plans and drawings assigned to the department
  • Report discrepancies or design issues in the architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sanitary, and fire protection plans to the Project Manager
  • Prepare the necessary clarificatory documents
  • Monitor and follows up the resolution of discrepancies or design issues in the construction of drawings
  • Report to the TSG head delays in the resolution of the design issues and non-conformances
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control on all works and materials of contractors through regular observation and inspection
  • Attend regular walk-thru inspections to monitor the progress of works and determine potential problems
  • Monitor the RFA and RFI schedule and critical milestone dates to ensure the timely completion of the project
  • Recommend value engineering or cost-saving measures to the TSG head or project manager
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
  • Professional license
