DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check the project schedule and ensure that all deadlines are met
- Determine labor requirements of the project
- Prepare and submit estimated budget, progress, and cost tracking reports
- Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out
- Report discrepancies or design issues in the architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sanitary, and fire protection plans to the Project Manager
- Evaluate construction methods and determine cost effectiveness of plans
- Monitor consumption of materials (through coordination with the warehouseman) and initiate ordering of depleted materials
- Monitor formwork cycle from stripping to installation, and prepare appropriate recommendations in case of delay or poor quality
- Supervise precast installation and architectural works
- Prepare appropriate recommendations regarding logistics, safety, cleanliness, and quality
- Ensure all company employees and contractors adhere to the company safety policy
- Maintain the quality procedures of the project
- Analyze problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications, and costs
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Professional license
- At least 2 years of work experience in the related field
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge in construction activities sequence
- Good negotiation skills
- Able to work independently and/or with a team
